A Roja Dove date for the Basenoter's diary - Thursday June 11th, 2009
by Danielle Cooper, 06 May 2009

This unmissable opportunity will be begin in opulent surroundings in Central London at 10am to meet the man himself, each other and Basenotes' editor, Grant Osborne. When the refreshments and introductions have been enjoyed the group will begin a fascinating two-hour masterclass with Roja, during which there will be lots of interaction with plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the fragrances discussed in this intimate group setting.
With senses tingling and imaginations sparked, the group accompanied by Roja will then settle down to enjoy a luxurious two course lunch with wine, during which the conversation will undoubtedly be ablaze with passionate perfumed discourse. Following the close of lunch at 1pm, Grant and Danielle of Basenotes will be delighted to accompany any Basenoters wishing to continue the olfactory journey to some local establishments to compare notes and move ever forward on the journey of discovery...and of course rifle excitedly through the exclusive Roja Dove goodie bags.
The entire event, including a two hour interactive masterclass tailored with Basenotes readers in mind, a two course lunch with wine, refreshments, an exclusive goodie bag, all printed materials and the optional afternoon tour taking in some of the delicious offerings of Bond Street and Jermyn Street (with some suprises en route...) and finally arriving to a warm welcome at the Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie in Harrods will cost £125 per head. This unique experience has been devised exclusively for Basenotes readers and will be a memorable opportunity to discover more about our shared obsession and meet people with similar interests.
Basenotes is very proud of its reputation as an online resource for all of those looking for further enlightenment in the field of fragrance. This event is designed to bring together a group of those looking for more information in a more interactive way and will be accessible for everyone, no matter their level of interest, but the content of the masterclass is to be delivered with Basenoters in mind. The level of knowledge and passion evidenced by our readers will be reflected in the content of Roja Dove's talk and the associated samplings.
In order that this event is fully interactive and that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topics at hand the group numbers are extremely limited - to avoid disappointment please register your interest and secure your place as soon as possible. If you find that the places have been filled and would like to be the first to know about possible future events please ask to be added to our mailing list and you will be the first to find out about these exciting opportunities.
If you would like any further information about any aspect of this event or would like to find out how to book your place please contact me as soon as possible and you will be given full details.
In the meantime watch this space for our exclusive trilogy of editorial in the run-up to this sensational collaboration...
