To date, I have purchased 4 of these and have loved 3 of them unreservedly. The Yacht Man scents are often maligned on basenotes and the contempt seems to begin because of the extremely low prices of these scents ($6-$7 per bottle). Other fragrances in that price range are usually not even worth that amount. Many complaints are made about the poor longevity and projection, and these are valid; Yacht Man scents dissolve down to skin level in 15-30 minutes and disappear altogether by an hour. To combat

I was walking around in Downtown L.A and by accident I saw a bottle of By Man by d&g , I thought was legit but it wasnt the caps inside was black so it was fake . I asked for the price the lady said 80.00 bucks because is discontinued I said yes indeed but that one is fake she said was legit but we know all aready that is fake. Get a legit by man is hard to get and expensive ,very expensive on ebay,so is worth it buy a fake By Man for 80 bucks?

Some background. I've been in this hobby since late 2011. Really actively pursued it in 2012, sampling upwards of 30 fragrances a month. Was also quite active in the first half of 2013 as well, but in recent months, I've laid back a bit. Been reading BN for a while, but started an account relatively recently.

When I first came to BN, I really didn't care for them. The Chypres. The mossiness was sort of a dealbreaker for me. Just too old lady.
