  1. Vintage thierry mugler A*Men

Hi guys , I’ve collected a a number of Vintage fragrances over the last 10 or so years. And I really believe in the saying, “the older the better”
    I sold all my old A*men keeping only a 2011 Havane .
I wanted to look for an original A* Men , Can anyone guide me on what to look for ?
Since Mugler was sold off the whole line has been butchered.
I would Like to know if there are any tell-tale sign that will help me notice the earliest possible flasks/ bottles . Thank you ...

I agree with this, and ThrilledChilled made me laugh, my wife hates about 90% of the frags I put in front of her nose. Tom Ford Oud Wood was followed up with a "please tell me that's just a sample". It's funny cause the ones I'm most excited for I feel, are the ones she shuts down the most. I mean, some I'm just going to wear because I like them, but others I get it and respect her nose not to wear them.

The swimming pool smells like sewage!' The perfumer ...

  4. Deep Dive Part II - A Closer Look at Chanel Japan

In a recent post we focused on a 1970s vintage Chanel that was purchased in Japan. It was distributed under license by Liebermann Waelchli and Co., which served as exclusive agent for Chanel in Japan for a bit over 10 years, from 1969 to 1980. I mentioned that the LW name (rendered in katakana) on a Chanel fragrance is an almost sure indication that the item was produced during that timeframe. In other words, Liebermann Waelchli on the packaging = '70s vintage (roughly speaking).

  5. A deep dive into a 1970s vintage Chanel

If you have a largish collection of perfumes, especially one too big for everything to be kept out on display, chances are you've misplaced an item from time to time. It's happened to me more than once. In fact, right now I'm trying to figure out what became of an old spray bottle of Chanel No.5 eau de parfum in a goldtone metal case. I sure do want to find that thing.

Sometimes it works the other way, and you rediscover an item you sort of forgot you had. This happened today as I
