  1. Andron has been resurrected!

    I gave up on finding my favorite 80s fragrances years ago, but a recent blind buy has returned Andron to me. I hope others who loved it get to use it again.
    I purchased a bottle of Charm Fresh Breeze Aroma by Bioaqua on Amazon, and have been transported to 1982, just like Uncle Rico!

  2. evolution of an oil

    Greetings all,
    As part of my training for making perfume using naturals I am working through all my essential oils making notes on their characteristics and how they evolve on a smelling strip over a period of time - until they fade.
    I have completed about 70 up till now.
    This record is obviously subjective and I am keen to find out if there is a definitive directory, list or resource that has noted the evolution of essential oil scents on a smelling strip

    Fougère Royale was of course the original fougère. It was not only the first example of the genre but also one of the first fantasy perfumes - abstract creations that don't draw their inspiration from nature.

    Paul Parquet's great and novel idea was to create a perfume structure based on the contrasts and harmonies of three different materials : the fresh aromatic smell of lavender, the sweet and powdery hay-like odour of coumarin and the resinous dark orange of bergamot.
