Sometimes running a website which is primarily based on users interacting it's too easy to find yourself focussing on the negative side of things: The members that behave like antisocial idiots, the ones that derail a thread; the trolls etc etc.
Luckily, the majority of the members are helpful, lovely and do thoughtful things. As a parent of two children, I've noticed that kids thrive on, and really appreciate being rewarded for their achievements. I don't think us grown-ups are really
Last Monday I attempted to start some sort of regular behind the scenes communication from Basenotes HQ. Within that I provided a list of all the things I wanted to get done. Many of these I managed to fail at, mainly as my taxes had to be files yesterday so I spent most of the time finishing off accounts that I probably should have done earlier.
So, lets have a look at last weeks list...

The review section has been completely recoded from the ground up. This is to make them compatible with the new site's backend. The recoding of the site should mean that things are less intensive on the server, leading to less crashing. There is also a new Reviews tab on the main menu so you can easily access the latest review.
You can now edit your reviews. There is a limit on how many edits you can have, but you get extra edits if you are a Basenotes

You can now edit your wardrobe directly from your wardrobe, so you can rate fragrances, move them to wish lists etc. You can also mass-rate of move, so if you wanted to mark 20 fragrances as being 4 Star in one shot you can.You
