Just to let you know that at some point tomorrow (Wednesday 13 Nov) evening (GMT), the site will be down for a while, as we will be moving our database server.
Once this is done, this should hopefully speed things up a bit and we can concentrate on getting the Huddler data imported.
Hopefully this page will help answer all the questions you may have about what has happened to Basenotes. The big issue at the moment is that there are lots of things missing. I'll do my best to communicate with you dates and times when I know them. Some things may take longer to re-appear than others.
For those of you that are unaware, this version of the site is running on the software that we used previous to May 2013. From May 2013 to October

My apologies if I was supposed to get back to you, or you've contacted me in the last month or so. I'm severely behind. I recently lost a member of my family, and that has taken over things somewhat. Hopefully she's at peace now.
I hope to be catching up with everything soon. Apologies for late emails and actions on my part.
Happy sniffing peeps.
At around midnight (GMT) last night, Basenotes was hacked. If you visited the site early enough before we took the site offline would have seen a black page with the following message, and video:
Hacked by Team Animus
- video -
From Sweden with <3
As soon as we heard about the hack, we (in laymans terms) switched the site off and displayed a message saying that the site was down and we would post further updates on our Twitter page. I fell asleep

So much for this being a regular 'behind the scenes blog'! Anyway, here are some updates on various Basenotes Stuff.
The last few months have been fairly busy, doing niche award stuff for the FiFi's , plus the kids have been sick as well, so that has got in the way of BN. One thing I'm working on at the moment, is clearing a few things out the way, so that at I can concentrate on getting other stuff moving again (such as the CPL fragrance Project, see later).
