Scent of the Day

This blog depicts my interpretation of a chosen scent. I write a description and then list the notes and illustrate with a painting or photograph.

    Jardin D'Amalfi

Lemons blaze, hotter than the white heat on the green grass.
Sleepy, wafts of tangerine and juicy neroli, roll by.
It's time for a walk in the sunny garden.
Dreaming in the daze of warmth,
yellow striped butterflies prance with audacity.
Bold; they know they are marked as "dangerous".

Crisp, haunting floral floats about effortlessly.
Slightly green, yet sweet and pure; there is no other more perfect flower.

Charming, refreshing, gently stimulating - the herbs and spices welcome the day.
A clean tingle tickles my nose throughout the day. Peppermint, light as a snowflake.

Notes: Fresh citrus infusion with peppermint, Juniper berry, basil, musk, ambergris

Loving perfume on the Internet since 2000
