Last afternoon I received a sample of Chanel No. 5 EDP spray from a kind fellow member (along with several other goodies) and am working on my second wrist sniffing.
Surprise! It's so easy to love! For me anyway. I was reading the reviews and do not get some of the discord with this scent. Sharp? No. Grannyish? Never. This is sexy sexy sexy. Onto the wishlist with this potion. Mm mm mm. Much sweeter than I expected. Not at all like I imagined from the reviews.
Don't get me wrong, I'll miss my loved ones too. But this is my frag blog.
Tomorrow I'm flying down south for a week to visit some long lost family. (Dad, stepmom, half silblings, nieces and nephews, and a grandmother!) :bounce: I'm only bringing one carry on bag to save time, money, and space. SO, I'm leaving my collection behind for a whooole week. It will be the longest I've been without them. Lots of firsts! First time flying, first time meeting these relatives, and first scent

It started today with Aimez Moi- a total 180! First (a few days ago), it was okay. Then I liked it. Then I loved it. Then - I hated it. I think the brief love stage may have been influenced by some killer reviews- I can be quite impressionable at times.
After deciding today for the fourth time in a row- most firmly this time- that I dislike L'Instant for its heavy candy sweetness- I decided that Aimez Moi has the same too sweet quality which I find unpleasant. Though Aimez Moi
Samsara EDT! My first and newfound signature scent- or one of them at least. I like the others in my collection, some more than others. But Iooove Samsara and every time I wear something else, I kind of wish I were wearing Samsara instead. Since I have under 1 oz, I would like not to run out so am saving her for sporadic use. Am already looking for a backup.
Anyone wanna swap? I'll swap you for just about anything.
PS Special thanks to the basenoter who swapped
Today I am trying Mitsouko for the first time-the newer EDT version. I'm finding it so odd and interesting that I think it needs a blog. Me sniffing my Mitsouko scented wrist all day deserves a blog. One reviewer's comparison to makeup was in fact helpful because I too get a makeuplike note-and I like the smell of some makeup items. Before that I was going hmm ... Alka Seltzer? Play Doh? I don't know! Perfume gone bad?
It is a very difficult scent to describe. It isn't
