Not enough information to fully understand aromatherapy February 29, 2008 Nicole Entremont (Baton Rouge, La USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book did not explain enough about aromatherapy for me to understand the the full extent of how to mix diffrent essential oils. It is a good and helpful book but it wasn't enough for me.
Potent Reading on Magickal Scents from a Little Book by Scott Cunningham September 8, 2007 Magickal Merlin (Death Valley-SoCal) At first,i thought this book would 'stink'.There is nothing malodorous about this good small book.Cunningham has a way of writing that is cosy and informative.I read this at two sittings, over the weekend. He provides many historical examples throughout the book. There's an excellent glossary and extensive appendixes for further reading on the aromatherapy topic. And the crux and heart of the book,is the one hundred plus pages of the magickal powers and uses of the aromas. My only beef with the book,is that it has no colorful pictures provided or product pictures shown. So,you would have to investigate further at your metaphysical shoppe, before you start wildly buying the various herbs, oils, and spices. For beginning new-agers around, this magickal aroma book is an excellent starting point on your quest towards healthier living .

Love this one also, hard to find book that really breaks everything down to the smallest degree to get info across, like all his other info books, very informative, also lets you know some things are toxic and should not be tampered with and how others are irritants.
Magical aroma October 3, 2005 J. M. Cornwell (Colorado Springs, CO USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Cunningham delves back into his well know research and experience to produce a compendium useful in blending scent and magick. Thorough descriptions of the magical and natural properties of available essential oils, what is most likely to be natural and chemically made or altered, "Magical Aromatherapy" offers the magickal practitioner, student or novice a look into the fascinating world of aromatherapy.
