Banishing Spots
by Kimberly Sayer, 01 December 2002
"I'm in my mid-twenties and still suffer from spots. I eat healthily, and wash my face every day. What am I doing wrong? Will they ever go?"
John R, London, UK
Kimberly Says: To help manage your skin, try a good clay mask, which will draw out dirt, spots, oil and dead skin cells. Use a facial scrub two to three times a week to help loosen the dirt and oils that cause blackheads and breakouts. Do not use the scrub in the areas that are broken out as this will spread the infection.
If you find that your spots are deep seated and you are constantly breaking out, a professional facial will do the trick. Avoid eating shellfish as the iodine causes irritation for people with acne.![]()
