Paris-based jewellers Boucheron is to launch 'Jaïpur Bracelet', a fragrance for women, exclusively at Harrods in March.The scent will be rolled out in other outlets from April.

The name of the perfume is said to come from the 'Nauratan' bracelets given to Rajasthani brides for good luck. 'Jaipur Bracelet' was created by Carlos Benaïm.

A Lab on Fire have launched a second fragrance: What we do in Paris is Secret. The fragrance was composed by Dominique Ropion, who is described by A Lab on Fire as "Wild at heart, he is not averse to executing surprising twists. What We Do In Paris Is Secret goes one step further. It unveils what lies under the perfumer’s virtuosic skill - the secret of a perfumer’s soul."

Diesel are launching a new flanker of 2009's Only The Brave fragrance. The new version is called Only The Brave Tattoo, and is inspired by the idea of "knowing who you are and what you believe in, and having the courage to wear your convictions on your skin forever."

Basenotes is assuming that's not referring to the lasting ability of the new fragrance.

I’ve always considered Jean-Claude Ellena to be a ‘quiet rebel’ within the perfume industry. His style of fragrant watercolours, particularly the ones for luxury brand Hermès, serve as a marked contrast to the many, bolder styles within mainstream perfumery and he has always come across as someone who very much does their own thing. Jean Claude-Ellena is the master of understated elegance - in a world where so many feel the need to shout, he confidently whispers.

In a move that sounds like an April Fools joke several months early, Dior is dropping the Chérie from Miss Dior Chérie, and the fragrance will now be known as simply Miss Dior. The fragrance formerly known as Miss Dior is now called Miss Dior Original.

Basenotes has teamed up with Olfactory Events to run a series of perfume events. Nick Gilbert features in the first event, which takes place in London in two weeks time. Gilbert has been on the fragrance scene for more than a decade. Many of you will know Nick as a writer on Basenotes.net (or from the forums as gblue), he also started a twitter account: @fragrantreviews which reviews perfume in 140 characters or less on a daily basis.

USA: Chloé are launching a limited edition purse spray version of their 2010 fragrance Love, Chloé.

Love, Chloé, was created by perfumers Louise Turner and Nathalie Gracia-Cetto. The scent contains notes of Orange blossom, Pink pepper, Iris absolute, Lilac, Hyacinth, Wisteria blossom, Heliotrope, Powdery musks, Talc and Rice powder

Dolce & Gabbana are to launch their latest men's fragrance, The One Sport, next month. The scent will be available at the start of February in the UK, with an Italian launch later in the month. The rest of the world will get to the scent before the Olympics, starting with the US in March.
