This month sees the launch of Issey Miyake's L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Sport
- a new fragrance, created by perfumer of the original
, Jacques Cavellier. The new fragrance contains notes of grapefruit, bergamot, nutmeg, vetiver and sandalwood.
The company are have also launched a website to market the fragrance, sport-emotions.com
, where they will show nine videos of outdoor sports. The first of which, free-fall parachuting, is available now:
The video is accompanied by text describing the feeling of the free-faller. It begins: "Altitude 4,000 metres. Drop zone in sight. The side door of the plane slides open with a rumble. The rushing air pins me to the fuselage. Hands clenched, standing firm, I struggle against the wind and give a last glance to the patchwork of colours underneath."
The fragrance is available in 50ml and 100ml Eau de Toilette; deodorant and body shampoo.
