Here are the fragrance briefs we received from the Basenotes members. Three of these will be turned into fragrances by three talented perfumers at CPL Aroma's: Beverly Bayne, Mike Parrott and David Ruskin.

How does is work?
We solicited fragrance briefs from Basenotes readers at the end of 2009. Three briefs were chosen which will be turned into fragrances by the expert perfumers at CPL Aromas.

The next stage is to send out variations of these three fragrances to Basenotes Members, we will use the feedback to hone the fragrances into the perfect scent for the fragrance enthusiast
The project will still continue. There has been various setbacks my end and CPLs end. My apologies for the lack of communication, but I'll be sending everyone participating an email later today.
I really want to see this project coming through, and that we will have a proper Eau de Basenotes to show for it, but the lack of progress is alarming. Can we speed things up and have an end product...
