• Salvador Dali to launch Sun & Roses in April

Now is the time to ‘laugh gaily in a garden carpeted with roses, to feel the caress of the sun’s tender rays, to blush with mischievous pleasure… these are the summery moments, so soft and enchanting, that bring delicious sensations of happiness.’

Well, maybe not if you live in the UK, which still feels rather a lot like Winter – but never fear, the new fragrance from Parfums Salvador Dali, Sun & Roses, is here to bring you ‘summer joyfulness, so spontaneous and luminous... and the sunny sensuality, bursting with energy and desire, that radiates from within every woman.’

Described as a musky, fruity floral, Sun & Roses was created by Dorothée Piot and contains top notes of pink grapefruit, bergamot and apple, heart notes of rose, violet and lily of the valley, with base notes of white musks, cedarwood, vanilla and sandalwood.

The bottle features the imprint of the brand’s first iconic bottle, the nose and lips of the goddess of love and beauty drawn by Salvador Dali and inspired by his painting ‘Apparition of the Visage of Aphrodite of Cnide in a Landscape’.

Sun & Roses eau de toilette is available in 100 ml, 50 ml and 30 ml sizes, and will be available from April.

This definitely does seem like a summer fragrance. Notes such as:citrus, fruity, oceanic, woody, and light floral notes are always a good choice for the summer time. The notes mentioned in this fragrance description seems like a perfect choice for a hot, summer's day.
