    • Armani signs up actor, Chris Pine, for new Armani Code ad

Giorgio Armani have announced that Chris Pine is to star in new ads for Armani Code starting this Spring. Pine is probably best known as playing Captain James Kirk in the reboot of the Star Trek franchise.

Armani Code was originally launched ten years ago, under the name "Black Code" and was created by Antoine Maisondieu and Antoine Lie at Givaudan. The scent features top notes of bergamot and lemon; olive flower in the heart; and a dry down of guiac wood and tonka bean.

Giorgio Armani told WWD that "Chris perfectly embodies the brand’s spirit with his strong charisma and natural elegance. Besides revealing great talent, high versatility and the right amount of irony on set, his magnetic charm makes him the ideal match for this fragrance"
