Oscar de la Renta fragrances will now be distributed in the UK by Kenneth Green Associates, with immediate effect. His first fragrance, Oscar, was created in 1977 and was inspired by the gardens of Santo Domingo, where he spent his early years. His other ranges include So de la Renta, Volupte and Rosamor for ladies and Oscar for Men and Pour Lui for men.

Available now is Womanity, the latest fragrance by Thierry Mugler. The name is a portmanteau of woman and community, and Mugler says that "Womanity is the invisible link that binds all women together. Earlier this year a website, womanity.com, was launched to take the idea further: Somewhere women can share experiences and exchange knowledge.

Ineke have signed an agreement with Leading Cosmetics of the World for distribution of Ineke’s fragrances in Spain and Portugal. Thomas Dennis, co-founder and International Manager of Leading Cosmetics of the World said, “Ineke’s exclusive artisanal fragrances created in San Francisco are an ideal choice for Spain. We feel confident that Spanish and Portuguese consumers will appreciate the artistry of her perfumes”.

Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist, which turned fifteen, last year, was born of her passion for cashmere and was created to evoke the feeling of cashmere on bare skin. It was introduced following the success of the Cashmere Mist Body and Bath Collection. Each product had a distinct soft fragrance which evoked the scent and softness of cashmere.

Now, Donna Karan has taken this concept one step further with her latest fragrance. Cashmere Mist Liquid Nude Eau de Parfum inspired by the sensuality of bare skin is said to create an ‘illuminating sheer second skin.’ The fragrance features top notes of orange flowers, pink cyclamen petals and lily of the valley. The heart is a blend of sandalwood, ylang ylang, Moroccan jasmine, woody labdanum and pure Indian jasmine. At the base lay notes of white amber, skin musk, suede, tonka and a hint of Benzoin.

Ineke Rühland announces the latest fragrance in her alphabetical line of fragrances, called “Gilded Lily”. When Ineke read about the scent of the Goldband Lily of Japan (lilium auratum), she felt compelled to order a few for her garden to study their fragrance. This note became the heart of Gilded Lily.

Leading spa and skincare brand Elemis announce their debut fragrance: Elemis Eau de Parfum to mark their 20th anniversary. The fragrance has been created in Grasse by perfumers working in collaboration with Noella Gabriel, Director of Product and Treatment Development at Elemis.

Dye Holloway Murray have created a new campaign for Penhaligon's which will be used instore (and taxi cabs) and across print and online media. The "Merchants of Attraction" campaign uses Mock-Victorian visuals and tongue-in-cheek copy promote the fragrances to modern dandies and ladies alike.

Otto Kern has announced two new fragrances, Egoluxe for men and for women. The fragrances have been created by licensee, Maurer & Wirtz.

Egoluxe Woman , is said to be refreshingly fruity and modern, composed of soft and feminine flowers. The Egoluxe Woman range consists of a 30ml and 50ml Eau de Toilette priced €17.75 and €26.50 respectively, and a 30ml Eau de Parfum priced €22.00.

Ted Baker have announced two new limited edition version of their fragrances inspired by their 2010 spring/summer collections. ‘Woman’ for her, and ‘Skinwear’ for him have been adorned in seasonal prints from their latest womenswear and menswear range.
