• Jade and Chrome - new from Yardley - to join Diamond, Daisy and Polaire in new range

Yardley have launched two new fragrances – Jade, a feminine fragrance, and for men, Chrome. The brand have also repackaged Royal Diamond and Royal Daisy, which have been renamed Yardley Diamond and Yardley Daisy. All these fragrances join Polaire to create a new contemporary fragrance collection from the brand.
Jade, a green fragrance inspired by swinging sixties, was created by IFF perfumer, Anne-Sophie Chapius and contains top notes of peach, bergamot and galbanum; middle notes of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and iris; and base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, moss.

Chapius says of Jade "Green floral fragrances have always been a favourite of mine because they are so elegant. I was delighted to create a modern, fresh bouquet that captures the bold and exuberant spirit of the 1960s era".

Jade also has other connections to the sixties – the name is a nod to a Yardley fragrance from that era named Sea Jade.

The new men's fragrance, Chrome, is a green fougère fragrance, with promotional materials also inspired by the sixties. The fragrance contains notes of Apple, Bergamot, galbanum and a water accord in the top; a heart of Lavender, coriander, rose; and a base of musk, amber and moss. The perfumer of the fragrance was CPL Aroma's Christian Provencano.

Yardley London Daisy and Yardley Diamond have been repacked. The fragrances were previously housed in the same packaging as Yardley's classic fragrances.

All the fragrances are available now.

Oh my goodness, Sea Jade takes me back to my childhood! My late father worked for a major financial organisation in London & had access, via his PA< to what was then called the "typing pool" - basically a group of ladies of all ages doing audio-typing - it was a while ago! He would always give the ladies assigned to his department a cosmetic gift set for Christmas, & I used to help him wrap them - I can picture the Sea Jade packaging; Yardley was a favourite, as was Bronnley, & the sets comprised talcum powder, body lotion, bubble bath etc. Very fond memories...thank you for posting this!
