The fragrance features refreshing top notes of mandarin, tangerine and lemongrass, a warm heart of cardamom, black pepper, neroli and lavender, on a base of cedar, sandalwood, musk, moss, patchouli and amber.
As well as Eau de Toilette, the fragrance is also accompanied by a men's grooming range which includes an after shave splash, a hair pomade and a facial scrub. A candle, pictured, has also been created exclusively for the London Collection's Men event.
Matthew Huband, Head of Global Marketing for the brand says:
For the second time, we're happy to be collaborating with LC:M by fragrancing the show spaces. As LC:M gets bigger and more prestigious, Penhaligon's is too. We’re delighted to unveil this elegant, modern grooming range for Gentlemen, further strengthening our men's offering. As the eyes of the world look to London in June, their noses will be delighted by Bayolea, I can't wait!
The name of the fragrance is not new for the company. Penhaligon's had a range of hair tonics and bay rum products under this name many years ago. And though it was discontinued to the public many years ago, it is rumoured that some of the range continued a small production run for a particular important client.
Bayolea will be available from this June.
