Even though I like Bond fragrances, I must say that the fragrances and the prices are soooooo out of whack. The fragrances do not justify their hefty prices. Based on the notes this sounds like a fragrance that I may like, but it will be a cold day in hell before I shell out that kind of cash for BOND!

I fully agree...the juice is of top quality nearly always...

But the prices are way out of order...

I'm not anti-Bond per se, but can someone who likes their juice enough to shell out these kind of prices for it explain to me what the appeal is, exactly? Because I just don't get it.

oh for god's sake, enough already with throwing some oudh into a perfume and calling it "oudh".

I would add that the Bond scents are of very good quality and very long lasting; not all of them of course!!!

I love Bond No. 9 Harrod's Ltd. Edition Oud (Swarovski) and hope they have the good sense to try and duplicate the quality in that one here. However; after wading through the countless introductions of so-so fragrances I've become a little jaded. Oh, and yes there prices are about twice to high, but I suppose those extra margins give them the courage to keep coming out with new ones. I hope its as good as it sounds.

I agree that Harrods Oud is incredible

(Grant, can you please add it to the other Bonds in the Fragrance Directory section and we can perhaps review it...?)

I hope this third Bond Oud is also as good...

      It is also quite pricey...

Looking forward to it. I haven't smelled the Harrod's scent, but the Perfume Oud was very interesting to my nose, and came close to a buy. This will be worth a careful sniff. Expensive, yes, but not totally out of line, IMO. No more so than Creed, Amouage, or many Guerlains, and particularly if you happen to like the fragrance.

Harrods Oud is so darn fantastic that it has redeemed the house and basically forced me to be interested in anything else they may come out with, especially if it's by Laurent Le Guernec (I really like some of his other perfumes for Bond, too, such as Harrods For Him and Brooklyn).

^ Yes, Brooklyn is still one of my faves. An underappreciated conehead scent!

What is so special about Brooklyn???...

^ I'm a bit of a woodaholic. I'm always on the lookout for a pine scent that doesn't smell like turpentine or Pine-Sol. Brooklyn really works for me as a light woody scent. It can also be worn for several days without unpleasant accumulation of synthetic basenotes - a problem for many lighter fragrances. Alas, it garnered muchos mehs from the fraggies. People even bitched about the bottle. *sighs*

Thanks for that Red...I perhaps should try Brooklyn again...

My favourites Bonds are Harrods Oud in the fall/winter and Eau de New York in spring/summer...the former is dirty and animallic and the latter is piercing and fresh...

      I am hooked amigo...

Well, i always wonder the same about Creed fragrances. I think it's really interesting that people love and justify Creed fragrances, that sometimes are even more overpriced than Creed with those 8.4 oz limited editions, and people doesn't seem to care so much with Creed prices. Some Bond fragrances aren't really worth of money, but Chinatown is the one that stand out from the line and that it's worth every pennie.

I am there with you Rick; some of them are truly unique; for me it is Harrods Oud...

The first time I tried it in the store (after having tried so many other ones that day...) did not think much of it...

The second time, I tried it on its own on a day that I had just stepped out of the hotel shower and thought...Oh my God ! This is me...for very special times of the day/week...

      Give it a go...
