Hi Purplebird7, if you ever come across a sample or some amount of Elizabeth Taylor's Passion I'd love to get your take on it since I've always enjoyed your reviews. Luca Turin called it a "fog horn" in The Guide. I don't agree. I have the pure parfum (which is what I smelled first) and the EDT purchased from the drug store afterwards (skip this). A friend found a 5ml parfum mini in some stuff he'd purchased at an auction and gave it to me. I won't say any more until, hopefully, you come across some one day.
Thanks for your vote of confidence in my reviews. I try to be accurate regardless of whether I like something or not--and I try to be amusing. There a lots of great writers on this website, aren't there? I'm an English teacher with a journalism degree, so I have lots of training.
You have a nice, clear and concise way of describing a scent and I'm finding that whenever I'm reading reviews about certain scents before purchase, yours are the ones that I'm inclined to rely on as accurate because usually they are. Thanks.
I probably should, although I think I did have the EDP. What bothered me is that when I bought the bottle, it smelled sweeter and less peppery. After two years, the same bottle smelled more peppery. I don't know if it was my nose changing or the perfume!
