You know, questions like that are impossible for me to answer. I mean, I'm sure your tastes are quite different to mine and keeping my collection between 15-20 is always a struggle. So, I think I'll cheat and tell you the top five houses, IMO, for EDPs:
I hope this helps!
trebor - what would you say are your top five mens edp
Alright Trebor I'll be guided by your wisdom . . . in place of Penhaligon's and C&Z 88, I have purchased Black Aoud . . . BTW interesting head shot
If I have to be awfully blunt here - not really. It's not so much the compositions but the actual weakness of the concentrations - even the EDPs last as long as a standard eau de cologne. In addition, I've recently discovered that Penhaligon's is owned by the same company that owns L'Artisan. That, in itself, says it all for me.
However, if I had to choose one, it would be Violetta hands down.
Trebor - any fragrances by Penhaligons that you like ?
It's completely subjective at the end of the day. As far as I'm concerned, there shouldn't be any rules - only personal preferences. Therefore, whether male, female or unisex, if you love a scent just wear it!
What would be your top ten fragances for a guy?
Thank you for your lovely message. I hope you are enjoying your time here.
I'll try my best to continue making the experience for you an enlightening and enjoyable one.
All the best.
