Hello MdM - I know you are busy being Captain at the moment, but I wanted to send you a short message after reading your review of Jardanel. I have not had the good fortune to have ever worn this, but now I feel I must try it. It does sound ravishing. - What I wanted to say was this - reading it I was struck almost immediately with the image of Anita Pallenberg, Marianne Faithfull, Brian Jones, Jagger and Richards in the late 60's early 70's. Rich decadent hippies - fascinating to read about and most of all - look at, well, photos, anyway! Wonderful review - thank you.
Hello leMdM, I am signing in as Cocotte of course, and sipping my drink here in the lounge...sounds like an intriguing flight coming up on Air MDM. I may have someone bring me another cocktail while I wait and watch for the other passengers...
MdM, I too am very disappointed and yes, furious that the thread has been closed, En Avion to Nowhere was great fun... I do hope to participate in another such adventure!
Your writing is inspired - and I have learned so much....I look forward to whatever you might come up with next...
Probably I should not have written that. It's strange when something like this occurs, especially when there is no logical explanation, and obviously in such instances there is nothing to be done after the fact, save for weeping and such, something I cannot thus far bring myself to do. It is why I mentioned somewhere on some thread that I should most likely never be able to smell "tabac blond" again, as this was his signature scent. I hadn't any intent to introduce a note of sadness. In retrospect I somewhat regret it, but I am true to myself. Thank you for your encouragement, Ingami, which is much appreciated. -leMdM
Hello MdM, I wanted to say that I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your close friend, how shocking and saddening that must have been.
On a much lighter note, as you must know I enjoy your writing of " The marriage of Mouchoir de Monsieur" very much, and am always interested when I see you have written as new "installment".
