  1. I have not smelled a vintage version of Lauder for Men. I bought my bottle new at Macy's in 2010.

    From what I've read though I don't think this fragrance has gone through a significant reformulation. If you can find a new bottle I think it's a great buy... much better than most of the current offerings marketed toward men.

    I love Lauder for Men. If you look at the reviews, I think the one posted by Off-Scenter sums the fragrance up best.

    On my skin the projection is average and longevity slightly above average. It starts out strong but settles down fairly quickly. Once it settles down though it sticks around for a while.

    It definitely has a 1980s feel to it, but it isn't as strong as the well known "powerhouse" fragrances like Kouros, Giorgio for Men, Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme, etc.
