It's all good (Posted this on your profile page but the message disappeared .. so I may be repeating myself) and thanks so much for the kind words. I have run afoul of FaceBook games if you can believe such a thing.
Still sniffin' and samplin' and BUYIN' (Just treated self to Mogador)
How's by you?
Hi there Taolady! I just noticed that your little green light was on so I thought I'd take this opportunity to say hi and tell you how much I've missed you around here! Things just aren't the same without your unique TaoStyle decorating the sotd threads, lol! I hope things are going well for you these days! XOXOXO
LUVVED the Rose Kasmiri (and won TWICE at mah jongg! Could there be a connection??!!) Reminds me a bit of t he old (haven't worn it in ages and there are hints of reformulation) Ombre Rose. Lasts pretty well and sits close on my skin. Have you tried Flamenca Rose? (I don't have any - it's on my lust list.)
L'Occitane Peonies is back in stock and I'll send you some when it comes in! When you have a mo', send me your addy in a p.m.
Poo - can't fix that typo! It should say "underwhelmed", natch.
Hey Lady Tao!
How'd things go with you, Mahjong and Rose Kasmirie? You were sounding underhelmed earlier - did it ever do its magic for you? I was hoping that you'd catch a whiff or two (as you daintily discarded a tile) and it would be love! I'm still smitten, and I don't think it's a mere infatuation....sigh. And I definitely get peony. This thing you started here, this peony thing, it's going to put me in the poorhouse!
Hello Lady Taolady!
I just saw your post about your pash for peonies (Do you say pee-O-nee or PEE-any?) and I wanted to tell you about another one - E.Coudray's Givrine. Do you know it? It's so tender and beautiful...it's one of those fragrances that could make me weep. At the heart is the most gorgeous creamy peony...I actually get white peony (I'm convinced they smell a bit smoother and less spicy than the bright pink ones.) It's really the stuff Wish Lists are made of!
And by the way, my sotd yesterday, Ineke's Chemical Bonding is fantastic! At first it's bright and sunny orange (although fiance says lemon... it's vivacious citrus, at any rate) and then it morphs into a big bold bright pink peony - very true, in my opinion, on a soft ambery/musky base. It lasted a good long time, too. This is also on my Wish List.
I'll let you know if I come across any others, and of course if I ever acquire full bottles, I'll be happy to share!
