Green Irish Tweed VS Cool Water - My Opinion

Rate this Entry
If there is one topic that keeps coming back on the forum, it's the Green Irish Tweed VS Cool Water "fight".

I own a bottle of Cool Water and decided to buy a sample of GIT.

Do they smell the same? Oh yes indeed.
But there are clear differences to me.

Green Irish Tweed seems to be richer.
The ingredients are certainly from a higher quality.
This smells "rounder", better blended.

In terms of longevity and sillage, I think GIT is performing a litle bit better, although I wish it was stronger. Certainly for that price.

So is Green Irish Tweed worth the money, for me?
Currently, no! With my current financial status, I won't buy something that is very reminiscent to a $20 dollar fragrance. I would rather spend my money on another niche fragrance, one that is more unique.

If you can easily afford GIT, this is actually a must-have.
This is good for every occasion possible. People will instantly recognise it, but it will smell a little bit better then what they are used to when smelling this aroma.

Wow! At least on this fragrance, our noses are definitely similar. You basically described exactly what I observe. I don't own a full bottle of GIT - but I may very well at some point.

Glad to hear I'm not alone on the GIT/CW thing.

I'm also glad to hear I'm not alone on this topic.
