Orchid Show at Missouri Botanical Garden 3.22.15

I love flowers and photography. If the flowers are fragrant AND I can photograph them I am a very happy person.

    Thanks for sharing the photos. I worked at an orchid nursery throughout high school and college. I'll never forget the unbelievable spring blooms and the amazing smells that would waft throughout the greenhouse. My favorite orchid was the Dendrobium Kingianum. My mother worked at the same nursery for years, she actually has an orchid named after her! Glad you enjoyed the show.

    Do seek it out. I love how they're mounted to either sticks or rocks at times. The oakmoss does dry out quite fast though and if you keep it too wet the roots decay. I used to keep mine healthy by spritzing.
