Dzongkha (L'Artisan Parfumeur)
A review in haiku.
Top: Iris, carrot.
Then: Green, some fruit, pepper. Weird.
But leather it ain't.
Cuir Améthyste (Armani Privé)
At first, this was a lot better than I remembered it, with the vibrant violent playing off against a subtle leather. I was concerned that it would be too much violet, and I was right. After about an hour the violets start to wither, taking on a dusty, dark quality, and then after two hours they have morphed into something like flowers petals crystallized in sugar - way too sweet. I think I might like it if I caught a whiff of it on someone else, but it's not for me.
