Signature scents: worth it or not?

Rate this Entry
So it's a controversial topic everyone has their own opinion on this and all are valid. In my opinion as a young collector of fragrances and a student I don't always have a pocket full of cash lol so I can't afford to deplete and replenish every bottle I have in my collection, at least not yet . So at the moment I just pick and mix different fragrances from my arsenal as and when I please but recently I considered a signature scent. I then came to the conclusion that it was a good idea for me and suited my lifestyle. By signature scent I dont mean a fragrance that i'm going to wear every single day of the year, I have one for summer/spring and one for autumn/winter and then I wear my other fragrances whenever I feel like it. By doing this I won't use anywhere near as much juice from the other bottles in my collection and as a result only have to replenish 2 bottles regularly. I can still add variety when I feel like a change but save a lot of money at the same time. Then whenever I get spare cash I buy a new fragrance and add it the the growing collection and usually trial it for a few weeks. That way i can still add even more variety to my routine.

Very good move to find a "Varietal" signature scent. When you trade out your fragrance, you don't have to worry as much about becoming anosmic to it.
