As Basenotes community members we all love perfumes and emphasize on the sense of smell. But how many of us are truly guided by the distinct types of fragrances? Confussing...... ok let me make it clear!

I mean certain perfumes are associated very closely with particular objects, thoughts, perception and emotion that human life is surrounded by. Most of the people believe that a good fragrance is everything we want to be perceived better by our friends and company. There is no single definition of a good fragrance. Reason being, a perfume that works best on you may not work even satisfactorily for your mother. So perfume is specified not only for man and woman, but also according to age.

And the fact is we need to choose carefully among the thousand varieties of perfumes available to us. We are fortunate and must be thankful to the modern-day’s perfumers who are providing us unique cocktails of scents, which are intentionally created to serve a particular purpose. Of course not all, but some of the recent launches are exquisite.

One that I have just picked from the store is Ageless Fantasy Perfume by Harvey Prince. I knew nothing about it when I bought. But don’t know why liked it and picked a bottle. You may say it’s a bad habit or silly childish act but sometimes I love to try things - specially cosmetics and apparels - randomly. I follow the path of sudden instinct. There is such a great fun in exploring new treasures….. I love it!

When I opened the bottle, it was a mystique fragrance…wow, beautiful! Actually, the top note is composed of tropical fruits, mango, apple, pink grapefruits and leafy greens. The combination is fresh and youthful. This is what Ageless stands for!

The middle note is a mixture of cherry blossom, jasmine, lily of the valley and peony. It’s an invitation towards the happy optimistic mood.

And the base note is fantastic! Precious woods, musk and vanilla are all that we can sniff in Ageless. To speak honestly, the perfume is long lasting. Use a single spray and you’ll feel relaxed for the whole day. I wear it and receive numerous compliments.

So come to the point; why I am taking so much about Ageless Fantasy. Obviously, because I like it a lot. To my utter surprise, I am getting younger now- hey this is not what I say, but what my friends used to comment. What more could I wish from a perfume? Actually, grapefruit scent is associated with youthfulness. I smell and perceived as younger, something that is used as a synonym for beauty. Ageless is making me beautiful! O’ really….I love to think it again and again……
