LVMH are scrapping its remaining Fendi fragrance, Palazzo. Italy's general manager for LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics, Gabriella Scarpa, told Women's Wear Daily that sales "didn’t meet expectations". LVMH acquired the license to create Fendi fragrances from YSL Beaute in 2005, and discontinued all of the Fendi scents before introducing Palazzo in 2007....

LVMH have succeeded in its battle with eBay. The Paris Commercial Court have ordered eBay to cease selling perfumes and cosmetics bearing the Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy and Kenzo brand names, failing which eBay would incur penalty payments of 50,000 euros per day....

The commercial court in Paris has, in a ruling announced yesterday, upheld a claim made by LVMH against eBay.
The court has ruled that, by allowing the sale of counterfeit goods on its website to the detriment of Louis Vuitton Malletier and Christian Dior Couture, eBay was guilty of gross misconduct and of detrimental breach as, through accountable negligence, eBay had not taken the necessary measures to prevent the sale of the counterfeit goods on its site.
