Everything's Coming Up Roses: Perfume Lovers London Event February 28th 2013

20th November, 2012

Perfume Lovers London, in association with Basenotes, will be holding a rose special on Thursday 28th February at the New Cavendish Club in central London.

Rose perfumes are as individual as people – and we guarantee there’s more than one rose out there that you’re going to fall in love with. But why is it that so many people say they hate rose perfumes and find them too ‘old lady’?

Perhaps some attempts at faithful renditions in days gone by did lack a certain something, but if you’ve ever smelled Roja Dove’s Aoud, for example, or Frederic Malle's 'Une Rose', you will know what it is to be truly excited by roses. Temptress and aesthete, poet and lothario, rose perfumes come in all shapes and guises...

Do you know your tea rose from your Rosa Damascena or Rosa Centifolia? Learn how to tell those apart.

Come and smell a wide selection of rose perfumes for men and women: we’ll have roses that are centre-stage performers and roses that are best supporting actors.

Tickets cost £15 and are non refundable.

Price includes refreshments, and, where possible, one sample of your choice.
