Gathering Apples by CB I Hate Perfume
As a child I remember going to apple orchards where you could smell apples the whole way through. Apples and wet wooden crates and baskets and the smell of paper bags. I don't really get these smells. There is a significant apple note that carries through and does smell very fresh and very real. It doesn't smell like candied or sugared or super sweet apples. Just the smell of wet apples and a lil musty smell that, I imagine is the wood!?!?

Burning Leaves by CB I Hate Perfume
Just wet burning maple leaves. The scent of a fire that grandma used to make with her leaves when I was a child. Great for autumn but a little weak in fragrance strength for the winter time. Also it doesn't last nearly as long as I expected it to.

In The Library by CB I Hate Perfume
If you walk into a library...or an old bookstore. When you walk deep into the part where the old books are held in the old part of the building. Providing this is a properl maintained library. You will experience the initial fragrance of CB's frag "in the library".
You really have to stop analyzing the scent to really enjoy it and get whats it trying to say. Its the smell of an old place, there is a musty smell and lil leather and a really lite lemon prescence.
It lasts for a while on my skin, several hours, possibly five. The lemon and the sweeter notes take over after the first hour but it's still a very nice frag and the middle notes and basenotes are still reminiscent of the topnotes.
Where and when will I wear this...? I am not really sure.

Gucci Pour Homme II by Gucci
WOW. So This fragrance has been on my wishlist since I discovered this website and that it was coming out. I have to say that after owning GPH, GPH 2 is just like it in many ways, there is the common myrrh note but other than it's style that's where the similarities end. It's a very nice fragrance though, the violet leaves are short lived and disappear within ten minutes of application, however the pimento and olive wood are a lil reminiscent of a dirty martini while the cinnamon and the black tea really come out and settle in to the tobacco leaves offer a greenish scent that really helps to make for a very unique frag. If you can imagine what a summer version of the original might smell like, this is it.

Gaultier² by Jean Paul Gaultier
Absolutely Incredible. Very sweet though, if your not into that then stay away. I am saying it's like Vanilla sugar and sweet amber. Some people say it smells like grape bubble gum and I can get that but when I break it all down it kinda smells like freshly made creme brulee, and sex.

Paradise for Men by Alfred Sung
Fantastic Fragrance, very light, evokes a great image of what paradise could be. But as is a common problem with Alfred Sung it just disappeared after about 45 minutes. Perhaps it should have been called Mirage.

Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka
very unique. The absinthe presents a very strong anise note and its rounded out a little by mainly green woods and a fair amount of vanilla. Great for a cool autumn day. Or everyday if your reclusive.

Desire for a Man by Alfred Dunhill
Apples and Limes and Roses and a hint of vanilla that really picks up in the end. I don't really get that synthetic feel as all of these fragrances appear in nature, it is a lot going on at once and because of that your nose doesn't really know what to do. One thing is for certain; it's a whole lotta sweet.

Euphoria Men by Calvin Klein
How disappointing this was. It seems to me that the Calvin Klein fragrance department has run out of ideas, not that it ever seemed to be going in a great direction anyway. Euphoria starts out very nice and almost seems to promise a great lasting product. In my experience however there was no such thing it faded into a very subtle "typical mens woody scent"
The only euphoric thing about Euphoria was the bottle.

Burberry London for Men by Burberry
Wow. If you wanna smell like the incarnation of a classy man then this fragrance I would put at the top of my list. The top notes of bergamot and black pepper work nicely to enhance the spicy aroma that is brought out in the cinnamon leaves which also contribute a great deal of "green note" to this one. In drydown it seems to get very woody and the port wine really comes out with something of another fruit... perhaps baked pear. Every time I smell I think this how a well groomed man should smell.

Blu Notte pour Homme by Bulgari
This fragrance kinda makes me a little "frisky" when I put it on. And as I wear it I often find myself sniffing my wrists when I want a bit of an "olfactory upper".
Just like with anything else I smell in life I put the fragrance to work in my imagination and it drives a scene that fits the scent. With this fragrance I imagine being outside in late spring or early summer. You can smell clean air brought out by a nearby water fountain. The scent of your neighbors flower garden having just started to bloom wafts up into your nose, maybe it just finished raining and the scent of wet flowers is dominant. All of that with the natural smell that you as a young man put off just freshly showered combines to form Blu Notte.
I often get told that I smell "amazing" when I wear this.
