Tea for Two by L'Artisan Parfumeur

I received a sample of Tea for Two many-many months ago. At first, I didn't really care much for it, but as the months dwindled down to this day of my review (and after re-sampling it), I came to finally love it! They say scents brings back fond memories, and after remembering a similar scent I caught briefly many years ago in a tobacco shop, it reminded me of Latakia Tobacco (which the scent is similar to Lapsang Souchong tea, according to sources). In the end, I finally ordered the 100ml bottle.

Messe de Minuit by Etro

Nothing dark and gothic about Messe De Minuit as others have claimed. I get more of a honey-incense smell, with a hint of myrrh. Its a sweet scent that reminds me of sucking on a honey stick in an old stone room permeated with incense burnt many years ago. The smell lasts for many hours, but the sillage is weak. I give this fragrance a thumbs up! Good job, Etro.

V pour Homme by Valentino

For some weird reason, it reminds me of cotton candy with a bit of vanilla, and a touch of spice. The sillage is decent, the longevity terrible. However, I really do enjoy this scent.

Holy Smoke by Demeter Fragrance Library

Holy smoke is the exact smell of the incense used during Catholic mass. However there is a slight synthetic smell when first sprayed. The drydown is a light Frankincense that seems to stay on for many hours. I wanted to like it, but just couldnt. Now I use it as a room pick-me-up spray which I use during the night, which evokes a mystical-spiritual feeling.

H.M. by Hanae Mori

A great gourmand scent! Vanilla, and chocolate go hand in hand with this oriental woody fragrance. I tried a sample of the EDT, and the longevity is average. I then decided to get the EDP, and the scent lasts even longer, too long that I got sick of the strong sweetness of the scent. Great scent, but I should of went for the EDT. Just two sprays of HM goes a long way.

Dior Homme by Christian Dior

I really enjoyed this scent! The fragrance reminds me of a powdery lipstick scent. The bottle is very attractive, and the scent lasts for about 4-5 hours on me. Masculine, elegant, yet not too obnoxious.
