Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
Gave this a smell at the local perfumery today, looking for a gift my a sister's upcoming birthday. While it'd have been much to much for her, I loved it. First smell, and I instantly thought ANTAEUS by Chanel. Couldn't believe it, even the lady assisting me thought the same. It's spicy, bold, floral, and caused such a stirring in my loins that I'd track and hunt a woman wearing this down forever. BRILLIANT!

Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent
I love Kouros! Most certainly one of the first fragrances that I could honestly say that I was in love with. It amazed me the parallels drawn to the smell of this masterpiece, not the least of which coming from my sisters who regarded it as my "bear pee" cologne. One actually told me that she got headaches from it [and I can not imagine having over applied it].
I distinctly remember wearing this up at KSU to the club one night, and being just inebriated/confident enough to respond to a pair of girls behind me when they commented that "someone smells REALLY good!" I offered my wrist as evidence to them, to which they exploded and required that I dance with them. Suppose I should've followed that one through a bit longer, but regardless, women do enjoy the smell of a man not doused in common, flowery, powdery bullshit...all of the things that Kouros is not.

Aramis by Aramis
Just bought this about two and a half hours ago, after some perusing the net and the local frag-shops, and knew it was love when the clerk at the counter coughed and snorted as they prepared the sample for me to whiff. I tend to judge most frags that way, if my sisters hate it absolutely [such as Kouros] or clerks who prefer flowery scents cough and snort and generally make a big deal out of opening the bottle, it's a sell.
It's been drying down for a minute now on me [in fact about 120 min.] and I can almost not imagine life without this. I almost wish I'd purchased the 8 oz. bottle instead of the 4.1 oz., though I'm sure the 4.1 will still last awhile, when in rotation.
...but don't take my word for it!
