Trafalgar by Truefitt & Hill

Truefitt & Hill makes some interesting colognes for men. My personal favorites are 1805 and Freshman. Clubman is quite nice as well. Trafalgar is very different than most anything else made by Truefitt & Hill.

The main top note I detect is cilantro. A love it or hate it scent. I'm not a big fan but thankfully it only lasts for about 10 minutes. Then the cologne starts to turn into something spicy. This phase of the cologne is quite unique. Finally Trafalgar dries down into a very nice Sandalwood/Cedarwood with a hint of spice.

Nice in cool weather but there are better choices for the summer (like 1805 or Freshman).

Elite by Floris

A fresh citrus clean scent. Very strong when first applied and the grapefruit is odd. Once it starts to dry down it is much more acceptable (it gets better after about 10 minutes). Fine for business but not a night time fragrance.

Michael Jordan by Michael Jordan

Clean and crisp. This fragrance starts out with a citrus note and becomes more complex as it dries down. I get consistent compliments from women when I wear this. Works well for daily wear at the office.

Nautica Classic by Nautica

A decent enough fragrance but a little on the one dimensional side. I wore it a lot in my younger years.

1805 by Truefitt & Hill

In a word: Classic.

The top notes are wonderful to breath in after putting it on. As it settles down 1805 says sophistication and class. Every day that I have worn it this week I have had a woman comment about how much she liked my cologne. It's a great everyday scent that is equally at home in the office or relaxing with the wife and kids.
