Wings for Men by Wings
Wings is one of my Favorites. When I first used it back when it was introduced in 1994, I bought a bottle
immeadiately and reached for it every summer day. Its light airy fragrance has endurance due to its perfectly chosen middle notes that lend it real legs for feeling clean all day. I used it with any deoderant soap to stretch my budget, it clashes with nothing I am aware of.
It is inexpensive now compared to my
current love affair with Creed and I
only wear it now when traveling light
with the little bottles one can get
in collections at drug stores of scents long past their peak sales yet
remembered by enough folks to keep them from being discontinued completely by the companies that buy up
old favorites. ( I still have a weakness of Windsong and Coty Wild Musk on women- Many, many know beautiful women who wore them if of a certain age and beautiful women always wore perfume).
Back to the point- While inexpensive , it occupies for me
a niche reserved for the Great. It smells like a clean handsome man, but one who shops for fragrances at the corner drug store. If that sounds like you- buy it. A winner.

Silver Mountain Water by Creed
The note of currents and green tea are
are so beautiful I wish they would last
forever, but the dry down is identitical to Green Irish Tweed and all too soon.
While I love the base notes to a fault-it is definitely the top notes that make this one of my all time favorite
fragrances to wear. I feel fresh and groomed.
I wear Silver Mountain Water when I know I have a challenging day ahead of me for the lift it unfailing gives me and assurance it will be with me for the long day I will put in.
Because of its powerful and long lasting finish, however, I am sparing with my application , but I work in a confined
space of a pharmacy - one with more
space and airflow might want to be more liberal. It is such a safe fragrance for business. It evolks in me a secure confidence that I find invaluable as I must speak with so many people in one day. Not my romantic
choice, but such a solid buy for really feeling groomed and polished
without any risk of offending during business hours I cherish my bottle
and give it 3.5 stars on a scale of 4.
It lacks individual daring and the sense of the expression of personality one would want in the intimate realm. My fourth Creed and
most used.

Green Irish Tweed by Creed
Arrived today. I bought it without being able to sample it and as I read
the reviews visions of the awful Cool Water corriander and sage notes clanging on my co-workers' nostrils gave me a couple of sleepless hours.
Honestly, some people are quite good at writing scathing opinions and others
at what looks like a review , but is really just a chance to say "boardroom"
as if they golf there daily.
This is blended so perfectly and with such quality ingredients that you can count the ingredients with you nose as if it were a checklist. As clear as music and the genius of design as apparent. All one need do is look at the ingredient list and decide if such
things appeal to them. There are no harsh, moldy notes like old grass or
the funny smell of mixed cooking spices
one finds in Cool Water. I just love the stuff.
