Un Jardin sur le Nil by Hermès

I bought it randomly a few days ago and have been very pleased with it. It isn't anything too unusual,(reminds me of O'de Lancome) but when you are living in a tropical environment, spraying a green citrusy fragrance like this is refreshing. It isn't the best bottle Hermes has ever sent out, but I still enjoy it. Growing up in Europe, this reminds me of the summery unisex colognes women splash on when getting ready during the warmer months. Yes, I realize Un Jardin sur le Nil isn't a splash, but the aesthetic is the same.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana

I agree with the reviewer commenting on how Light Blue trumps Moschino's I Love Love. They are similar, but the latter is something you would give preteen niece for her birthday. Same goes for Anna Sui's plethora of fruity fragrances she cranks out every couple months. Living in Japan here, you will find these sparkling citrus scents everywhere, which is why you can buy a bottle of this at nearly any drugstore, albeit for twice the US retail cost. Lastly, I have been wearing this fragrance off and on for 5 years, and have been experimenting with layering it over other scents like Origins' A Perfect World bath line.

D&G Feminine by Dolce & Gabbana

This is my favourite perfume. The complex powdery element reminds me of another favourite, Cristobal by Balenciaga. The true perfume afficionados may take me to task on it, but regardless, that is what I think. What endears this scent even more to me is how edgy it is, for a floral. I think the hallmark of a signature fragrance is that you feel more like yourself when you are wearing it, and the same could be said for me and this fragrance.

Gin & Tonic by Demeter Fragrance Library

I found this fragrance charming. The overall attitude of Demeter is playful enough to discourage me from taking it as seriously as I would other brands that sell one note fragrances. I use this scent exclusively in the summer, it is crisp, cheerful and has a little bite to it.

J'Adore by Christian Dior

This fragrance does not necessarily stand out from the rest of the bottles I own. Normally drawn to the more quirkier fragrances, I figured I ought to have this for times when I need to feel polished and professional. (I realize how much I sound like one of the reviewers above) This fragrance has resilience throughout the day, and I am impressed by the overall dry down it emits. Like Cashmere Mist, Beautiful and the other high selling classic fragrances, this is a generally universally appealing scent.
