CK In 2U Her by Calvin Klein

this is a very pleasant fragrance but i totaly agree that it is cliche. Its almost like they have tried to please everyone with this fragrance. While the result to their credit is not a blurred mishmash of notes it is definatley not unique or interseting. for me it was fruity and slightly woody and vanillary without being too sweet or cloying(impressive as I have a low threshhold for fruity or sweet frags). this is definatley a commercial fragrance that ticks all the boxes for a popular smell today- kind of like a manufactured reality TV pop group. while I would be really happy if someone bought me this as a gift I wouldn't buy it myself- i'm too unique and well..interesting.

Glamourous by Ralph Lauren

a lovely perfume, would suit most people and would imo be difficult to dislike. for me it is white flowers and musk with a subtle warmth. pity it has been discontinued in the UK.

Allure Eau de Parfum by Chanel

a really beautiful perfume, i never grow bored of this. difficult to pin point really, as it is not easily castegorised, a floriental i suppose but it is fresh, sparkling and light yet also a bit mysterious. perfect for most occasions but i keep it for going out, special events or when i need to cheer myself up and feel a bit sophistocated. I will probably wear this on and off for the rest of my life.

Blu Notte by Bulgari

This is a really sexy perfume. I didn't think of it as fresh and watery until I saw it described as such on sephora(funny how when you are told something smells of something particular you automatically start smelling that bit) but I definately never thought of it as a sweet choclatey ginger biscuit fragrance as the notes might suggest. Anyhow, everytime I spray it now, I find it fresh, breezy and almost aquatic but in a rather solid secure not "watery" way. If I say i find it suitable for summer and winter you'll probably get the gist of what I mean. Very sophistocated yet in no way is it "old lady" at all. My only wish is that it lasted longer.

Petite Chérie by Annick Goutal

I find this perfume quite repulsive, which was surprising and dissapointing after the alluring description of "a sexy floral melange of peach, vanila, fresh grass and musky rose". I agree about the extra dry vodka martini, but i would go further and say it smells like a rancid bottle of bianco martini that has been sitting in your great aunts drinks cabinet for 20 years. After I have let it dry down for half an hour, i get chlorine.yep, definatley chlorine. I can just about make out the rose and maybe the peach and grass if I think about it hard, but really on me this was a terrible mishmash that would work well as a human repellant .

Narciso Rodriguez for Her by Narciso Rodriguez

I absolutley love this perfume. I have tried the EDT and the EDP and the EDP is slightly sweeter, more floral rather than musky and less fresh and breezy, but I think this adds a bit of depth and energy to it. The staying power of the EDT was really really dissapointing on me- only about an hour (and thats being generous), even if i used the shower gel and body lotion, so really not worth the money, as it is quite expensive compared to other perfumes in department stores. I have not yet tried the EDP for longetivity yet though. I hope it is better.
