This edition of Allure made me curious about the other Allures but I think this one is the best one. It is a very unexpected scent from Chanel. This scent does very different things on my skin. I dont know why but some days it is more citrusy and some days it has a mild lavender like middlenote that tries to hang on for a long time during the day. When it does this the lavender like note is a feint reminder of Serge Lutens' Gris Clair.
AHEB is very good fragrance that is wearable for almost all occasions but I think it needs abit more longetivity.

I agree that this fragrance really grows on you. I realized after maybe fourth day of wearing Himalaya that I found what I have been looking for. I dont have a problem with longetivity. Clean and fresh aura of Himalaya stays on me all day.
I see why people think Himalaya is similar to Paco XS. I recently went back to test XS and realized that it had very similar topnotes to Himalaya but it left a slight chemical feeling in my nose. I used XS for a year when it first came out. I thought it was a great fragrance. But I was 15 :)
With Himalaya the feeling is very different. It is just so natural from top to bottom and very mature.
