Gucci Pour Homme II by Gucci
I LOVE GUCCI POUR HOMME II!!! It's sexy, it's casual, it's masculant, but as funny as it sounds, a girl could probably pull this off too! Esquire Mag' described it best, this fragrance smells like fresh chopped cedarwood sprinkled with cinnamon and baby powder... and there you go! From the first initial blast you can really smell the bergamot and violet leaves, but soon after the black tea and cinnamon really kicks in annnnnnnnd theeeeeen... pretty much dries down to a base of... black tea! Which is just fine with me. To me Gucci PHII almost smells like a light potpouri, if that's a better description to those who haven't tested it yet. Y'know, for an EDT "Department Store" fragrance, this isn't bad. It's easy to wear and it's different, in a good way of course! Did you know it took Gucci 2 years to make this stuff?! Or so I've read. And for the record, (In my opinion of course) Gucci Pour Homme I (the orange one Tom Ford was behind) is disgusting! Yeah, that's right! It's nasty and even after all of the basenotes "Thumbs Up" reviews, I still couldn't convince myself that it was good. It smells like a mix of Body Odor, Pencil Shavings and Hot Paint Thinner... and that's being all too literal! Yeah, it's garbage! But anyways, GPHII is nice, especially as a little side scent that wont break your bank. I'm a CREED guy so... it's nice to have something less expensive on the side, y'know. And this stuff is great all year 'round, it fits well with every season. Oh, and by the way, nice lookin' bottle and liquid too! GPHII, Thumbs Up! A nice light warm scent!

Tom Ford for Men by Tom Ford
HOT GLUE!!! Like the sticks of glue that you insert into the back of a hot glue gun, like the kind you get at a craftstore! That's the first impression I got from testing this! HOT GLUE!!! Think about it... think about it...

XS pour Homme by Paco Rabanne
I absolutely LOVE PACO XS!!! If you've read my other reviews than it's no secret that I'm a HUGE HIMALAYA FAN, that's my signature scent! But along with Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, I wore PACO XS when I was younger. In the mid 90's I started wearing a lil' Hugo by Hugo Boss. I can honestly say in my opinion, this is exactly what this fragrance is: 3/4 Creed Himalaya + 1/4 Hugo by Hugo Boss= Paco XS!!! This fragrance is light, clean and fresh. PACO XS is warm, Himalaya is cool, that's probably one of the biggest differences though.

Platinum Égoïste by Chanel
Maaaaaan...Platinum Egoiste!!! Classic! I could remember wearing this and Paco XS, which I believe both were released in 1993. Everytime I smell this it reminds me of the Babyface song "For the Cool in You", which also came out in 1993, and maybe that's why?! But anyways, Platinum was one of the last "fresh, clean, masculine fragrances" released before the whole youthful/unisex trend came about in 1994, (ex. Tommy, CK One, Hugo, etc. etc.). Anything with that clean, fresh out the shower lavender soapy smell was great, but of all of those types like Herrera for Men, Paco XS, Eternity... Platinum was always the best. Honestly, wash your hands with a Lever 2000 bar soap, and the dry down of Platinum smells almost just like that! Real clean, but in a sexy, sophisticated way. I think I'm gonna have to buy a bottle of this cause talking about it, I'm missing it! Right now, my signature scent is Himalaya by Creed, if you like those classic clean scents like Platinum, Paco XS, etc. Himalaya is the best upgrade you can get of those. But overall, Platinum Egoiste by Chanel is one of the best EDT fragrances ever created, clean, fresh, classic, not too sweet and very long lasting, nice lavender top note too! Even The Notorious B.I.G. wore it: "...call em' on the phone 'n / Platinum Chanel colognin'..." lyrics from the song "NASTY BOY".

Vintage by John Varvatos
I haven't smelled this in a while, but from what I remember, it reminded me a bit of Hugo by Hugo Boss. It falls in the categeory of Hugo, A*Men, Hanae, Euphoria, etc. All fragraces with a powerful almost tingling like sensation, you know, the kinds that when you breathe in the first initial blast they hit you hard in your nasal passages and in the back of your throat/roof of your mouth, resulting in severe sneezing, migraine headaches and the occasional akward stare from across the counter in the department store. Overall, not a bad scent, especially if you're into the ones I named above! I love John Varvatos' clothing line, buuuuuut, I'd probably never buy this fragrance, I'm a Creed fan, so...!!!

Unforgivable by Sean John
Alright, first off, the scents not that bad, after all it did win an award. I know Puffy can be a pain in the ass, even I get annoyed with him, the guy doesn't have an original bone in his body, I know. I mean, he's so good at ripping music and fragrances, etc. that he even copyed his own fragrance (Unforgivable) and re-made it again (multi-platinum), than put it in the same bottle except the color's different! IT'S THE SAME SMELL!!! AHHHHHH!!! Buuuut he's Puffy! What are ya gonna do, y'know?! lol! But I like Unforgivable...sorta! It's a warm citrusy/syrupy aroma with a fizz to it, must be the sparkling champagne accord. Anyways, yeah, he ripped off Creed, I know because I did the research and I owned MI. There not exactly the same though, Unforgivable's more citrusy and youthfully sexy/sporty, Creed MI is sexy, but contains more natural and clean green notes with little citrus and it's airy and clean. Can't really say which one is "better", but, for what it is, it's a good scent, I just wish that it lasted longer, it has some of the worst longevity that I know of. If you buy it, get the 4.2 oz bottle, you'll need to spray throughout the day.

Millésime Impérial by Creed
I owned Unforgivable first and thought it was a good scent, although there were times I was sick of it, I always went back to it. I kept reading the basenotes reviews about the comparisons between Unforgivable and MI and told myself that one day I'd put up the money for the Creed fragrance and and see for myself how similar they are to each other and which one is really the better of the two. When I ordered MI, I also ordered Himalaya because it just sounded like it fit my personality perfectly. When I finally recieved MI, I took it out and thought "eh, the bottle's okay, kinda tacky", I expected it to be much more appealing but it was this 'plasticy' looking dark gold glass bottle, whatever, y'know?! Anyways, I finally sprayed it on my wrist expecting this undeniabaly alluring and super sexy aroma and kinda got...eh, it's okay. I definitely saw the similarity between MI and Sean John, so obviously, yeah, he ripped off Creed! But really MI just smelled like a watered down Sean John, (or should I say, more natural) and MI had more 'Green' notes in it, I didn't really get a 'fresh fruit' sense from it. But I didn't give up, I kept on testing it along with Sean John and truthfully, after a while I noticed how much more natural MI smelled, you could spray it on your skin and smell it right away, if you spray Sean John on and smell it right away it will kinda burn your nose from all the alcohol and MI's longevity is better too, Sean John doesn't last long at all. Until then, I never tried any Creed Fragrances and now I'm drawn to them, I can't see myself using too many EDToilettes anymore, Creed is more sophisticated and probably better on your skin considering EDT holds so many chemicals. Anyways I forgot to tell you my results on Himalaya.....It's now my signature scent and it will remain to be. Comparing that to MI, no contest, Himalaya is much fresher, cleaner, more up to date, has better longevity and all, I love it! And just remember, if you never tried a Creed scent and you're used to Department store fragrances, when you first smell certain Creeds or any for that matter, you might not like them at first, because you're used to a lot of chemically produced scents. Keep going back to Creed, give it a few chances, see how it dries down on your skin throughout the day, trust me, you'll come to appreciate them much more.

Usher for Men by Usher
Not a bad scent. Clean and fresh, kinda "incensey!" Nice bottle, cool looking cap. When I first tested this at Macys, I thought it was horrible, but I was offered a few samples and I took them anyway. About a week later after I had forgotten that I even had them I tested one of the samples on my skin and I couldn't tell if I liked it or not, but I couldn't stop smelling it and after a while I thought to myself this fragrance isn't too bad! Only problem is that I'm a Creed Himalaya fan all the way and I'm not saying they're exactly a like at all, but they share similarites that I haden't noticed until testing Usher a few times. They both share a cool, clean, fresh, incense like smell, but you can smell how much more sophisticated and better Himalaya is. Also, I don't think I can wear it just because it says 'Usher' on it! lol! I mean his music's good and all, but it doesn't hold a personal connection with the buyer of the product, you know what I mean?! He could have just helped create the fragrance and named it something cool or sexy or whatever and had a professional model advertise it, but he didn't and to me that ruined it somewhat...he's in the ad, his names on the bottle by itself, i mean what if someone doesn't like you or your music, but likes the scent? I've heard people say they won't by Unforgivable just because they hate P. Diddy! lol! The fragrance is very important, but so is the name and the bottle. Scent is the closest thing tied to memory, which is why fragrance is so important, every bit of that down to the name should show a personal connection to you, have some sort of sentimental value to become a so called "signature scent" just for you, no matter how popular. Even the cap on the Usher bottle is nice, but it's a replica a custom made ring that he (Usher) wears, it has nothing to do with anyone except him. This is the same place that P. Diddy messed up in, everyone knows he wears Creed MI and all he did was give you a less sophisticated version of his favorite fragrance in one of his bottles, only thing he did right though was give his fragrance a name other than Sean John. Sorry to ramble on, but honestly celebrities like musicians and actors are so great until they try to do something that doesn't make them who they are, it's a joke. Johnny Depp is a great actor, but if he created a scent called "Johnny Depp" would I wear it? No! If he helped a brand like Chanel create a scent by throwing some ideas of his own in there and they called it something other than "Johnny Depp" would I wear it, sure if it smells good enough. But it's not "his" scent and the thought that someone like him helped a brand like Chanel create a "Chanel" fragrance, well that's very cool! Catch my drift?!

Allure Homme Sport by Chanel
This is the best sport fragrance ever! I love this stuff and all the grooming products that go with it. Cool bottle, very cool and sporty aroma and it's got the Chanel name backing it up, whaaaaaaaaaat!!!! This is like David Beckham kicking a soccer ball in a bottle!!! Chanel even said this is made to spray all over your body and that's just what I do and the girls are all over me like white on rice! STOP ROCKING THAT PLAYED OUT ACQUA DI GIO! The girl your trying to run game on does not want to be reminded of every guy she's dated since 1997, you wearing ADG now is like our father's still wearing Old Spice or Aramis or whatever! lol! You need to break that habit before you're 50 years old still smelling like clubs and frat houses! My younger brother still wears that and I hate that crap, everytime I smell it I get that feeling, you know, when you're brushing your teeth and you accidentley swallow a lil' toothpaste, you feel nausceous afterwards like YOU JUST SWALLOWED TOOTHPASTE! Look, just remember: If you can get it at a wall*mart too, you probably should not be wearing it, (Not saying all department store fragrances are garbage, but choose wisely!)

Himalaya by Creed
I LOVE HIMALAYA!!! This and Chanel Allure Homme Sport are the only 2 fragrances I own, I tossed all the others a while ago! I'm 25 years old and I don't need an entire line-up of fragrances to find myself, just 2, maaaaaybe 3! lol! This is my 'Sophisticated' and Allure Homme Sport is my...well...'Sporty', both are 'Sexy'! lol! Along with the bottle, Himalaya's aroma brings a lot of my personality out. It's a very clean and fresh fragrance, it's starts off icy cool and dries down soft and warm. It last's most of the day too, it's definitely worth spending the $$$ for a 4oz. bottle - And it's a hell of a lot smarter than spending all your money on some played out department store high school fragrance every other month! You don't know a damn thing until you've tried a CREED Millesime fragrance, everyone who loves cologne can fall in love with at least one of them.
