| | Liz by Liz ClaiborneWell, I have to agree-nostalgia is fine, but what perplexes me is that I actually know someone who still wears this. "After more than 20 years you have not found another scent that better suits you?!?" This was the first perfume I ever owned. In a red triangle bottle that came with a bonus purse spray and lotion that never got used, I was proud at 12 or 13. Now that I have a forty-ish friend who still wears the stuff, I am thankful I have a need for change in my life and only fond memories of spraying this stuff on my Outback Red sweaters... 4th April, 2006. |
| | Amazing Grace by PhilosophyNot sure what the big deal is on this one. It has a big following and is supposed to be "graceful? "...I think of strong flowers and old sachets. Got rid of mine.... 4th April, 2006. |
| | Clean Perfume by CleanYou know, I do agree that you pick up a lemon sugary sort of scent from this one, but that being said, I get quite a few compliments on this. I also would have to say that, on me, this DOES smell like I just lathered up. (I use bar soaps myself, since I am not a fan of liquids) There is something I can't quite pinpoint that makes it this way. That being said, I am a little bored with it as I have been wearing quite a lot of it after recieving 2 bottles as gifts! 4th April, 2006. |
| | New York Fling by Bond No. 9This is a great everyday floral scent for me. Any floral at all usually ends up making me cringe, but I think the warm basenotes keep it from being too sharp. I have several of the Bond No. 9 scents, and this is one of my favorites. 4th April, 2006. |
| | Hugo Deep Red by Hugo BossDoes not smell bad, but the problem I had with this was that it stayed too strong for too long. I could never get by with it in the summer. I got a great deal on a set and liked the scent so I bought it. I ended up giving it away because it was too much for me, and 95 out of 100 scents are not. Usually they have no staying power on my skin. 4th April, 2006. |
| | Amarige by GivenchyYou know, I realy loved this on some one else and got some for myself. I only made it through about 1/3 of the bottle before it seemed so putridly sick and sweet and floral that it made me gag when I put it on. Now, every once in awhile, I will smell something good and think that might be wat I caught a sniff of, but I will not be buying another bottle... 4th April, 2006. |
| | Dior Addict by Christian DiorI made the mistake of buying this one on a whim. I liked the scent when I sampled it but out of the bottle at home it just became TOO STRONG. I could not stand the strong smell I carried with me all day. Not that it was bad, just OVERPOWERING!! I gave it away.... 4th April, 2006. |
| | Burberry for Women by BurberryThis was always my scent, until t hit some kind of huge popular rush in the last 3-4 years. Now it smells like everyone else and no one asks "what are you wearing?" anymore. I am looking for a new one. This is stale.... 4th April, 2006. |
| | Maybe Baby by BenefitEverytime I pull this one out and spray it on again, I wonder why I don't use it more often. It is such a subtle sweet smell that picks me up. I guess it just doesn't speak to me as an everyday cologne. A lot of people would disagree, I think, but I can only do fruity so often, and that is the reason. Still, peach and apricot are my favorite fruity scents, so this is a good pick. 4th April, 2006. |
