Curve Wave for Men by Liz Claiborne

Smells kind of like Paco XS pour homme, but this one gives me a headache. Good value if you only want one young, fresh aquatic. Me? I traded it in for the Paco XS.

Paul Smith Extreme Men by Paul Smith

There is not much to say about this one. it is well suited to its designer. Fun, dry, simple, woody, citrus, but very modern. not one of the modern sweet fresh nightmares like Boss, but very understated and sporty. Spicy. It does not last very long on my skin. Good for Fall and Spring.

Givenchy Gentleman by Givenchy

The Patchouli in this really lasts and lasts. In fact, patchouli and a little moss is the only thing I remember getting from this. I might not have the skin chemistry for this (my skin is not at all dry). A one-note patchouli makes me think of hippies. Though I do like that one note, quite a lot, I would rather smell it on incense than on a flannel shirt. Not unrefined, and also not general purpose. Gentlemen would be well-suited for a dinner party in the Antilles maybe, but not so much for everyday winter use.

Escada Homme by Escada

What can I say about this stuff? this is the switch hitter of masculine fragrances. Its powdery, yet woody. Its formal but a little sporty. Its spicy yet sweet. I could wear this stuff almost anywhere and stay confident smelling it all day long. Liquid gold with the gold cap.

Orange Cream Pop by Demeter Fragrance Library

As advertised, you will smell exactly like an orange creme pop. It could be fun in certain situations.

Blu Notte pour Homme by Bulgari

There is a lot going on here. The baby wipes note is there but is easy to forget. It smells like I imagine Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka to wear in retirement. Its very subtle, very velvety, and very complex, but it is not something that you want to smell again and again. The scent has an incredible width with so many notes hitting you at once. I can't identify them all. But unlike many winter scents, it lacks in depth. I bought this on clearance as an opened box, felt pretty neutral about it.

Jaguar (new) by Jaguar

When I sprayed this on a card, I got a nice citrusy orange blossom. When I sprayed it on my wrist, very heavy and dull Lotus and Tonka bean that lasted all day, like i had bathed in chocolate. Not really my thing. For a spicy, fresh scent try Jaguar Performance man.
