    Life Essence by Fendi

I dont get any of the listed notes except sandalwood and geranium. It simply smells like minty rose water to me. And I love it.

Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men by Giorgio Armani

Opens smelling like spiced fruit jam and ends up smelling like generic laundry detergent. Darvant's review is spot on. This fragrance isn't worth anyone's time.

Burberry London for Men by Burberry

Opens boozy and spicy, I dont get port wine but rum, lightly spiced with pepper and cinnamon. Now at the heart it takes on a floral edge while maintaining its boozy backbone, mimosa is an interesting floral note, has a dry and fresh sweetness which adds complexity to the spiced rum. This stage is wonderfully refreshing, very summery. After a while the rum and flowers are joined by a gorgeous trio of smoky pipe tobacco, fruity oakmoss and dry leather. The combination of these notes is breathtakingly beautiful.

Unfortunately it doesn't last long and projection is very soft, this is obviously a major pitfall and explains why something this beautiful isn't more popular. Also, I dont think this is a winter or autumnal fragrance(it could be if burberry launch a true EDP version), its light concentration and refreshingly dry character is ideal for summer and spring.

Its a great fragrance but dont expect it to replace tobacco vanille or dior homme intense in your cold weather rotation otherwise you will be disappointed. Looking for a unique warm weather fragrance? This will be superb.

    Zino Davidoff by Davidoff

Simply stunning. Pure bliss bottled. Smells like how it smells when you are making love to a beautiful woman.

Appropriate only for the most special of evenings.

Dark, smokey, animalic, leathery, boozy, vanillic, spicy, woody, creamy. This is it. Thank you Zino.

    Givenchy Gentleman by Givenchy

A decadent blend of dark, earthy patchouli, suede, rose infused honey and musky civet. Very buttery smooth in texture, throughout and the warmly radiant civet in combination with the rich, berry-like honey imparts a distinctive 'hot glow' to the whole composition, which is so beautiful and unlike anything I've smelled before. This stuff is perilously sexy.
