powerful concoction which should have been named "biscottino" or "chocolate chip cooky", powerhouse of a gourmand, is actually an oddball more on the masculine side..Ladies swoon over it!

80's aromatic powerhouse, syrupy orangy dry down. The beginning is extremely tart and aromatic, the neroli accord is prominent Retro style, tobaccoish vibe
There's quite a bit of sage here, too, hence the "dryness". There's also a bit of angelica in the herbal mix, thus adding a touch (but just a touch) of powdery sweetness to the final parts of the dry-down.
This one wasn't a massive hit in this day and age.

beautiful sillage and good duration..the opening is very Tuscan leather but a great deal less harsh..I get the same vibe of AdP colonia Leather maybe harder on leather notes.. similar to the Ford creation but just not the same.. a purchase I won't regret...

disappointing in sillage won't get the thumbs down for its delicate stance, exciting open the leather here is in a between stage cuir -beluga/ Daim Blonde..but being a male a I prefer the latter.. when finished this bottle won't be replaced..maybe is a leather suitable for summer...

what's the fuss/hype all about? Wasn't discontinued, would it have its cult status, yet? don't think so.. just a skin scent...lame, lame..shame!

Dior Homme Parfum by Christian Dior

A blast of iris into the opening, then a cocoa note leads the path to a sweet leather/ rose/ oud combo which constitutes the final drydown..projectio and sillage too modest for something passed as parfum.. duration is good but it actually is a near skin scent... guess Dior wen for the Zep song in the commercial and deliver a very mass market scent.. I love this house but their effort seem to be aimed to the Privee line which is consistently better
