Blue by Ralph Lauren

Hello, lol! I'm a guy who accidentally bought this thinking it was a cologne (on the box, it does not mention perfume, or anything feminine), and I must say, I wasn't surprised by a couple of the reviewers mentioning it's cologne like properties.

To be real, I didn't know it was a perfume until about 2 months later, because on me, it smells like a cologne, or maybe a very well done unisex scent that really leans toward the male side like CKbe does.

With that said, it is the best smelling light cologne I've smelled next to CKbe. It is Awesome! Everybody I know loves it on me, and only my girlfriend knows it's a perfume, because I told her (much to her surprise).

Two words. Get it.

Michael for Men by Michael Kors

Okay, you know what...I was a little too harsh with my last review. Okay, WAY too harsh. Michael is actually a really good scent, it's just that at first, I didn't know how to take it. I'm used to "fresh" citrus" and "soapy" scents, and have just gotten into "spicy/oriental", but this is the first of it's kind that I've ever had the pleasure of wearing.

Oh yes, my girl loves this, and for some reason, it does seem to be a fav of the ladies in general. I think it smells good, but women really LOVE it. Go Fig.

If your looking for something different to try, then try this. If you're looking for something for the ladies, then definately try this.

Warm and spicy. Great winter time frag.

Higher Energy by Christian Dior

You know, I just reviewed the original Higher, and I spoke about how it STUNK (ye olde man scent, along with Michael by Michael Kors)

I talked about how it made me gag (Pepper smell)...and how (thankfully) short lived the scent was.

But this....Higher Energy, is not actually bad.

It's not "good" either, but it's not bad. On my skin, it's real citrusy, but then dries down within 20mins to the same spicy musky scent of the original (which stinks to my me)

Higher Energy is a scent that wears close to the skin. The longevity isn't as bad as the original, but it's not much better. (perhaps, an extra 45-60 minutes beyond the original 10?). Okay, I guess that is an improvement, lol!

In any case, it's an "okay" scent (smells like Calvin Klein's Escape but with a smidgen of bass), but it's not great enough to buy a bottle. (I purchased a sample)

I'll say this though. DEFINITELY an improvement over the original. ECK!

Allure Homme by Chanel

Spicy and Masculine, good quality? You might want to try Allure by Chanel. It's like a young man's version of Obsession (Doesn't cling to you and the WORLD, not nearly as loud, soft even, masculine, manly, doesn't remind you of your father, and sexy) with a delicious note that I can't place that runs all throughout.

My girl loves this on me, even though I was 10sec from throwing the sample away because it reminded me of Obsession at first, but this is surprisingly good. What Obsession wants to be.

If you look on both the Obsession post and the Allure post on Basenotes, you'll see they pretty much share the same ingredients. Hell, they're even the same color liquid (with Allure being 2 shades lighter. Not to mention the same color containers.

All in all, if you are a 20 something, you should try this, at least order a sample. You WILL be pleasantly surprised.

Higher by Christian Dior

I'm a young 27 year old and I have one thing to say about this "fragrance" that is marketed to 20-somethings.

ECK!

I've never smelled something so foul! (Perhaps Michael by Michael Kors, but at least his scent confused me for awhile before it's true colors shone)

I just sprayed one shot of this stuff to my neck 10 min ago. For 10 min, I was gagging on what smelled like "pepper". TONS of pepper. I came here to see what is in this stuff (as I have a sample), and discovered "spicy notes" and "basil".

Maybe that's what I'm smelling, but combined, it smells like PEPPER.

And as a few have noted, it does not last. (Thankfully) 10min later, and I really can't smell it anymore.

Man, I smell like SEASONINGS!
