Synthetic to the core and I mean this in the worst possible way. No redeeming features. In a word - vile.

Gaultier² by Jean Paul Gaultier
I am simply amazed at how many bad reviews this fragrance has received so far. This will probably come as a shock to all of you who have slated Gaultier2, but to me it is easily the most beautiful fragrance I have EVER tried. Granted, it does feel more feminine for its sweetness and vanilla-ness, but is none the worse for it. Actually, I must have fallen in love with it instantly because it reminded me so much of Prada for women.
Boring? Only if you insist that a fragrance must evolve to be considered as such. To me, Gaultier2 is like a dream that has finally come true.
THUMBS SOARING UP!

Mauboussin Homme by Mauboussin
Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful! I love patchouli and this is THE patchouli fragrance. It starts off with elegant lavender, joined by bergamot and rosemary that imparts zing to this otherwise subtle scent. The heart superbly blends scintillating cinnamon, deep patchouli and sage. All these notes are rounded by musk, fresh Bourbon vanilla and sandalwood. A word of warning though: don't expect this fragrance to leave a strong sillage as it is very subtle and intimate, which is why some people think it is short-lived. Enjoy it!

Magnetism for Men by Escada
A note (less) away from being perfect! An intense leathery-balmy-ambery mix atop which sit such luscious spices as saffron and pepper. If only it weren't so sweet on the drydown. Still, Magnetism is my choice for this winter. Two thumbs up!

Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren
I would have to agree with a lot of people here. The scent is indeed clean and fresh (which I don't find so captivating as so many others do), but it melts down into a wonderful mixture of water and musk which I find so warm and pleasing, quite reminiscent of a mild summer afternoon. Pity its lasting power is (by all accounts) small. Still, I would give it a try.

Just Cavalli Man by Roberto Cavalli
Haven't tried it yet, but, according to Sephora.com, the juice includes the notes of Bergamot, Rosemary, Ginger, Cardamom, Guaiacwood, Clary Sage, Geranium, Coriander, Mace, Orris, Patchouli, Cedarwood and Musk. Sounds promising, I can't wait to give it a try.

Emporio Armani Night He by Giorgio Armani
I am completely blown away by this fragrance. It is wonderfully floral thanks to violet absolute and deeply sensual on the drydown due to the sweet amber and myrrh. Terrific!

For my taste this is the best men's fragrance on the market. Unique, spicy and elegant. The scent could be more concentrated.

From my point of view it's the most unique fragrance for men I ever had. There was no and there is no simmilar man's fragrance to Macassar.
