M7 by Yves Saint Laurent

Definitely a MUST HAVE scent, IMHO. Distinctive and professional.

Good Life by Davidoff

A much finer "Green" fragrance than Creed's Green Irish Tweed. I get more complements on this than I do for any other fragrance. The comment is almost always the same, "boy, do you smell goooood!"
On a personal note, my favorite "Green" scent is Yerbamate by Lorenzo Villoresi. There is no close second, period.

Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren

This is a very good, well balanced, scent that is an absolute steal for the price.

Red for Men by Giorgio Beverly Hills

Basenotes' description is right on the money.
I buried this EDT under the sink and had to pull it out to make sure I had the one that is selling on Ebay for unbelieveable amounts of money. It is.
It was a poor choice for $30.00 in the early 90's and still is.
If you want a somewhat similar, but better, fragrance try Lolita Lempicka au Masculin.

Piper Nigrum by Lorenzo Villoresi

No hyperbole below. A masterpiece plain and simple.

Spezie by Lorenzo Villoresi

Warm and inviting. If you are looking to add a spice scent look no further.

Yerbamate by Lorenzo Villoresi

Perhaps it is because I am a rookie, but Yerbamate does not blend well with me at all. Of the 5 LV scents I have this is, by far, my least favorite and would not purchase it again.

Bois du Portugal by Creed

This is a masterpiece! Professional to the core with great longevity.

Silver Mountain Water by Creed

I, too, have found Creed's SMW very disappointing. If you are looking for brisk-dry go straight to Lorenzo Villoresi's Vetiver.

Vetiver by Lorenzo Villoresi

Perhaps second best.... with it's clean and very sharp edge. IMHO, the finest is Annick Goutal's Vetiver.

Chaleur d'Animale pour Homme by Animale Parfums

I picked this out of a a handful of scents in a "blind" trial. All others were better known - Givenchy, Perry Ellis, Bvlgari and YSL products. Worth a try and dirt cheap.

Himalaya by Creed

Clean, professional yet seductive. The only all-occasion scent I know of.

Vétiver by Annick Goutal

This scent is stunning! IMHO, the reviews below are increadibly accurate in describing the warmth and richness that make this scent nothing short of blissful.

Rush for Men by Gucci

Masculine scent that dries down very pleasantly.
If Gucci would change their cheap plastic container, one that never stays glued together, their ratings and sales would surely head North.

Gucci pour Homme (original) by Gucci

Very pleasant, professional. I find it a little more refined than Envy, but similar (dare I say). I cannot wait to try the new version.
