Amber by Sage Machado

This is a fragrance I can just relax into. The blood orange is delicious and is the perfect accent to the warmth of the amber.

Love it!

Les Elixirs Charnels - Oriental Brulant by Guerlain

Lovely, light and soft ambery oriental, with a touch of incense.

The notes are: clementine, almond, tonka bean, vanilla, amber, styrax.

Acaciosa by Caron

This is described as a pungent floral fragrance on the Caron website. It contains jasmine without a doubt and rose too. It lasts forever and the drydown is ambery and deep.

It's one of my favorites and I've yet to smell anything like it.

It is still being sold at Caron by the way.

Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune by Guerlain

The top notes are the most real grapefruit smell ever. I don't get a dirty smell at all. I admit to not liking the patchouli in the drydown too much, but that just gives me a reason to reapply and experience the exhilaration of the opening once more!

Intense Tiare by Montale

This is a beautiful coconutty tiare fragrance. It is a skin scent on me and I'm going to wear it all year, not just in the summer. It is feminine and pretty without being cloying and there is no artificial or sharp smell, just smoothness.

Cèdre by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido

When I first tried this several months ago I didn't like it. But now... Wow! The most gorgeous drydown of anything I've tried. It's an intriguing scent in all stages too. It has the cedar, cinnamon, cloves, tuberose, amber, musk. A cozy and sophisticated fragrance...a combination which is not too common. I love it. It could almost be my holy grail, I think.

Vaniglia, Bourbon & Mandarino / Vanilla, Bourbon & Mandarin of Sicily by Antica Farmacista

I love mandarin and vanilla, so this is a summer favorite.

It does smell like a creamsicle, but isn't too sweet. The notes are perfectly balanced.
