Le Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier

This feels like a very sexy fragrance.

It has a very nice opening, where the mint is very prominent, before eventually settling down into a warm, woody-vanilla base.

The sillage and longevity are impressive.
However I can understand how some people could find this cloying and synthetic; I even think the same myself some days.

Overall, a tremendous "night-out" scent, but I won't be buying another bottle.

Habit Rouge by Guerlain

I'm afraid I can't understand the support for this one.
While I can see how it can be interpreted as a "classic" and "gentlemanly" fragrance, I almost vomited when applying it.
It has a stomach-turning spicy opening, settling into an overpowering mixture of spice and vanilla.
Perhaps it is a personal aversion to spice, or just an old bottle which is "on the turn" I honestly do not know.

Touch for Men by Burberry

One of my favourite openings, it's very sweet.
I disagree with the review calling it "clean", it settles down into a musky scent, but my only criticism is that it just doesn't last on me. At a rough estimate, I don't get much more than 4 or 5 hours before it disappears.

My favourite Burberry frag, although admittedly I've only tried the others on testers.
