Mimosa Pour Moi by L'Artisan Parfumeur

Smells exactly like Summer. I think it would smell good on men as well during the Summertime.

Smells exactly like figs. Big, black, ripe figs.

Égoïste / L'Égoïste by Chanel

Egoiste.. It's incredibly sweet, but in a good way, like honey, when compared to white sugar. The smell is intoxicating. It is reminiscent of so many things at once. It is definitely a scent of class. It has the subdued, understated, and simple elegance that is the mark of luxury.

Everyone who I ask claims to smell something different.. cinnamon, vanilla, pot pourri, honey, even pizza.. I personally find it smells like the Italian soft drink "Brio", and has a quinine quality. Not that it actually smells of any of these things, but it reminds us of so many wonderful things at once.

Besides that, it is extremely original and memorable. Having worn it for about two or three days, I've already been told "whenever I smell that, I'll think of you". A good choice as a "signature" scent.

Touch GrigioPerla by La Perla

It smells rather sweet but at the same time almost smoky. The combination of that smokiness and musk and the sweetness is novel.

Individuel by Mont Blanc

The sweetness is balanced by a fresh, green element. At times, it almost smells purple. It can change from a sweet, warm scent to a cooler smell. The juice is either purple or blue depending on the angle of viewing and lighting, which I found cool. I also like the bottle.

Banana Republic Classic by Banana Republic

Classy and traditional smell... Somewhat ubiquitous but also unassuming and unpretensious. It's more the type of fragrance that adds to the whole without really standing out.

L by Lolita Lempicka

The bottle is incredible.

The scent is very interesting. You can detect the vanilla note very clearly, although it somehow doesn't smell like a scented candle. Overall, it works well but only when applied sparingly. Overapplied, it just overpowers.

Versace Man by Versace

Very interesting. I was at a department store just walking through the perfume section when this woman accosted my friend and me with a bottle of Man. She sprayed it twice on his arm and then on mine, then she said "Ooooh you have light skin, it'll be marvellous on you!" and sprayed some more.

I didnt realize at the time how nice it was (you know how it is with all those other fragrances around) or I would have asked for a sample. Only as we walked out the door and met up with our female friend who had been in the women's perfumes did I realize it. She sniffed me and said "mmm you smell like man" and she couldn't stop smelling me the whole way home.

As for staying power, I took a shower and I can still smell it as if I hadn't.
